MX-5 Competition Clutch assembly provides increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and track use depending on a chosen stage.

Super Single Disk Clutch – Developed for cars not quite ready for a twin but needing something more than the conventional Stage 4. The Super Single mirrors a twin disc in the fact that they both are a 18.4 cm setup and have 4140 forged steel flywheel. Unlike the twin, the Super Single only uses one disc and tips the scales around 7-9 kg depending on application, Super single is designed for road race use only. Not recommended for drag racing.
Competition Clutch needs a gradual break-in process of about 500 km (300 mile) before any intensive use. This break-in is REQUIRED with performance clutches.

Bolt-on installation on a 1.8L NA/NB engine. Fitting to a 1.6L NA/NB engine requires a 1.8L flywheel.
