Competition Clutch flywheels for MX-5 NC 5-Speed are made of 4140 forged steel and are one-piece. This helps to significantly reduce the chances of deformation of the ring gear and warping of the friction surface.

A light steel flywheel is recommended for naturally aspirated and / or street-driven applications.
This flywheel retains low torque and drive-ability. Suitable for Stage 1 and Stage 2 coupling applications.

The ultra-light steel flywheel is recommended for forced induction and / or racing and racing races.
This flywheel is machined with less material to facilitate faster rotation. It fits well with Stage 3 and above couplings.

The weight of the flywheel varies from 3.81 kg to 6.20 kg depending on the application.
