MX-5 Core Plug Securing Plate

Bolts over freeze plug on front of the engine head. We highly recommend it as an extra layer of security against leaks. Used when blanking front coolant outlet – put silicone over the core plug and install the plate with provided bolts.

Can be used to accommodate fan switch for 1.6 Mk1 (NA) cars, in this case you don’t need the core plug and order only this securing plate. Alternatively you can use the plate to feed water to your turbo – it has a M16x1.5 thread.

This plate is already a part of our reroute kit in the “Remove and core plug the engine” option, so if buying reroute kit – you don’t need to order it separately.
